Frequently Asked Questions
Are you a manufacturer?
Nope, we're not. Instead, we're your partners in bringing your brand to life! Most quality manufacturers don't really work with brands who come to them unprepared, that's why we are here to help you create all the necessary documents, and help you manage sampling, production, and communications so your manufacturer can produce your product just as you want it. We are experts in the technical side of things and can do your tech packs, spec sheets, organize fittings, and give detailed feedback to your factory regarding your samples. We work hand in hand with you and your manufacturer to ensure your vision shines through in the final product, optimizing every step of the manufacturing journey for efficiency and top-notch quality.
How much do your services cost?
All of our services are tailored to meet your unique needs and requirements. We believe in providing bespoke solutions that align with your budget and objectives. As such, our pricing varies depending on the scope and complexity of the project. Get in touch with us to discuss your specific needs and receive a personalized quote.
Do your charges include the fees for the samples and bulk production?
The charges we quote are just for our services. When it comes to making samples and producing your products in bulk, the factories will send their own invoices directly. We'll handle all the nitty-gritty details of getting everything ready for production, but the actual costs for making those samples and bulk orders will come from the factories themselves.
What is the typical timeline for product development?
The timeline for product development can vary depending on several factors such as the speed of the factory, communication between parties, and any design iterations required. On average, the total development process from start to finish may take varying durations from 6 months to 2 years. For Phase 1, which includes initial concept development and design, we typically allow 1-2 months. Phase 2, involving tech packs and quotation, generally takes around 1-3 months. Phase 3, encompassing sampling and bulk production, may span up to a year. However, it's important to note that every manufacturer operates differently, so these timelines are approximate guidelines.
Do you have minimum order quantities (MOQs) for production?
MOQs can vary depending on the specific requirements of your project and the capabilities of our manufacturing partners. We'll work closely with you to determine the most suitable production quantities based on your needs and budget.
You can find our partner factories' MOQs here.
How many samples will it take before we do bulk production?
The number of samples required can vary depending on several factors, including the complexity of the design, fabric selection, and any necessary adjustments or iterations. Typically, the sampling process involves multiple stages, starting with initial prototypes and progressing to pre-production samples for testing and refinement. We'll work closely with you throughout this process to ensure that each sample meets your specifications and expectations. While the exact number of samples needed can vary, our goal is always to achieve the perfect result that aligns with your vision.
How involved will I be in the product development process?
Your level of involvement is entirely up to you! We believe in transparent communication and collaboration, so we'll keep you informed every step of the way. Whether you prefer to be hands-on or prefer to delegate tasks to us, we'll adapt to your preferences to ensure a seamless experience.
What do I need to prepare before working with you?
Before we begin working together, it's helpful to have a clear understanding of your vision, goals, and requirements for the project. This may include any design inspiration, technical specifications, budget constraints, and timelines. Additionally, having any relevant materials such as sketches, mood boards, or fabric samples ready will facilitate the initial discussions and help us tailor our services to meet your needs effectively.
